Let’s take a quick look at Will Gifford’s experience.
Gifford grew up in Lebanon and Columbia, Connecticut graduating from Norwich Tech in 2023 where he studied in the automotive trades.
It is unclear what he did during his gap year after high school. Gifford claims to be an ASE-certified mechanic but that cannot be confirmed.
His path quickly shifted when he left Connecticut to attend William Paterson University in New Jersey during the 2024 to 2025 academic year.
He then transferred to UConn for 2025 to 2026. Sophomore Gifford continues his studies journalism, is on the crew team and commutes from his parent’s home.
In May of 2026 he announces on Facebook that he’s starting a home-based business, working out of his parent’s driveway repairing small engines.
At some point he even gives preaching a try.
Gifford was registered as an unaffiliated voter at the time of his nomination for State Representative. He just changed his affiliation to Republican at the August 2026 Republican Primary.
